This is one of my favorite beds and we're the only boutique we know of to carry this *non-toxic technology and brand.

How does it work? The technology behind this cooling pad is intended to shift the heat from your pet's body to the crystallized filling, which slowly changes into a gel providing the cooling comfort. No need to add water or refrigerate. Reportedly, pets should feel 5-10 degrees cooler in the summer months when lying on the "cool" side. For winter months, flip the cushion and your baby can enjoy the comfy memory foam side. It is sure to be a favorite summer, spring, winter or fall.

Not only can it be used inside a crate as a crate bed, but doubles as an in-house bed with chic comfort to appeal to both of you.  In a beautiful latte color, this dog bed can be used year round. Timi keeps one in the dining room for Bugsy.

Materials 

• The bed and "warm" side of cushion is a Mink-type chenille fabric
• The "cool" side of the pillow is made from an organic bamboo fabric
• Hypoallergenic
• Pillow's cover is removable for easy cleaning
• Bed is easily vacuumed

WARNING: Despite the *cushion being tested as non-toxic if ingested, I do not recommend this bed for KNOWN CHEWERS. Why risk it? FYI: I also would not recommend water-proof beds for known chewers as the waterproofing contains harmful toxins if significant levels are ingested.
