This compact mobile potty for dogs can go anywhere. It's modest size is best for puppies and small dogs up to 12 pounds. There are more and more "port-a-potties" on the market these days but I found they are either ridiculously expensive, bulky or poorly constructed. The grass on other models I tested slid around. Since dogs are sensitive, and do not like, the ground moving under their feet - slipping grass makes the unit both unsafe and undesirable to the dog. This particular potty has a deep enough tray that the grass stays where it is intended to lie. The grass mat sits on top of one insert tray which allows liquid to drain down to the lower tray - which "locks" at the handles to keep the units together. Something those expensive units on the market that I tested lacked!

Super easy to clean, the trays are made of durable plastic - while the mat is made of an antimicrobial and odor resistant artificial turf. The turf is intended to give off an organic scent, which is supposed to attract dogs in order for them to be taught that the potty is an acceptable spot for them to relieve themselves.

Puppies are, by far, the easiest to train to use an indoor mobile potty but these are a blessing for any small dog that takes advantage of their purpose! Whether you live in an apartment or have a large backyard, sometimes we just can't get home in time for our canine child's comfort and needs. Mobile potties allow our beloved to go when nature calls!!
